Lil Wayne
For the third time since his conviction, Lil Wayne's sentence has been postponed yet again. As Rap Pages previously reported, a basement fire shut down the Manhattan courthouse and injured several people yesterday afternoon.
In February, a judge postponed Wayne's sentence until March 2nd so that Wayne could undergo extensive dental surgery. Meanwhile, Wayne shot nine music videos in 48 hours to keep his fans entertained while he serves a one-year sentence for gun possession.
Last night, Wayne made a special appearance at a Jay-Z concert in Madison Square Garden to perform "I'm Goin' In," alongside Young Jeezy, Nicki Minaj, and Drake.
According to the Manhattan District Attorney's office, Wayne's hearing is rescheduled for Monday while the courthouse undergoes repair.
